About Threshold.

What About Costs?

"I need a website, what will it cost?" Ah yes, often one of the first questions we are asked. And it's virtually impossible to answer before we get into the details of what exactly your needs are. How many page designs? Do you need a content management system or ecommerce capabilities? What about copywriting? These are just a few of the questions you can expect us to ask.

Threshold has always been positioned to provide premium services at pedestrian price points. We will typically not be the cheapest, or the most expensive. That's by design. However, our results are in line with the best of the best. At the end of the day, it's all about ROI, return on investment. If you are serious about your brand and your website, then we are a firm you should most definitely talk to.

When you do talk to us, cost will probably be one of the last questions that gets answered. The reason is this: we are a custom, one of a kind design and development firm - and as such every single project is different, requiring different skills and resources. We don't have websites hanging on racks in the back room (there are some sweet sweatshirts though). And that's a good thing, because your goals, objectives and needs are going to dictate what goes into your project, and in turn its cost.

If you see websites offered by other assembly line type firms for X dollars per page or per site, turn and run. Fast. One size fits all does not work in branding or web related services. You will indeed get what you pay for, without question. If your goals are not to have the best possible end product, but just to get something done as fast and for as little cost as possible, we probably aren't the firm you are looking for. Average just isn't in our vocabulary.

If, however, you are after world class results, then the first step in formulating cost is to figure out your exact needs. We can help you define your requirements before cost, contracts, or anything else comes into play - it's part of what we do! Beware firms that give you quotes before actually taking the time to understand who it is they are bidding for, let alone what exactly they are bidding on. We take the time to learn these things first, which is ultimately the most important factor in a project's success.

In the end, the best way to answer all of your questions (including those about cost) is to get in touch with us. We're extremely approachable, we don't bite, and we might even buy you a cup of coffee.

Average just isn't in our vocabulary. If you are serious about your brand and website, talk to us.
