We just signed Miller Paint, one of the oldest and best known companies in and around Portland, Oregon. We’re pretty dang excited to get the chance to work for and with them, and not just because our office could use a fresh coat of paint. Ahem.
It’s always fun to be able to help take traditional companies / brands into the present in terms of their online capabilities. And Miller has tradition in spades. Founded in 1890, the Miller Paint Co. is nothing short of a Pacific Northwest institution. Miller has been privately held and employee owned since its inception. The company is widely recognized for their quality paint and paint related products.
2010 is poised to be a big year at Miller, as the company starts to ramp up its marketing efforts in the digital space. As such, Miller has approached Threshold for both design and integration. We’ve been tasked with designing a versatile email template that will serve as the foundation of the company’s email marketing efforts. Additionally, integrating that template into the EchoShot email marketing platform will give Miller the ability to easily create, send and instantaneously track HTML email campaigns sent to their customer base.
From horse-drawn carriage delivery to email delivery. How’s that for business longevity? (Wow!)
