Hip Featured on Extreme Home Makeover

Portland’s own Hip Furniture was featured recently on ABC’s Extreme Makeover: Home Edition.  The episode took place in Corvallis, Oregon, and Hip was called upon to provide most of the furniture for the newly built house, which replaced an unsafe living environment.

The story centers on seven-year-old Jenessa Byers, who has bravely fought cancer while seeking to help other children that are in her position.  The project was made possible by local businesses like Hip Furniture that donated time, materials and labor to help construct a new home for the Byers family.

The episode premiered Sunday, October 7th on ABC.
